Because it’s a humane thought? If you woke up in a body unfamiliar there’s going to be a million different questions running through your mind 1.What happened? 2.Are you tripping? And 3.If im in this person’s body what happened to the original owner? it’s not lazy writing it’s just logical thinking/reasoning.
