While I largely agree with you, you're kinda missing the point on why he doesn't want to use the time dilation. Let me put it this way. Sure, he could totally go into seclusion and go do closed-door cultivation like some wannabe Xianxia protagonist, but he would basically have to give up on developing any attachments to others due to his thirst for power, and considering he's honestly pretty damn unstable, it would really not go well. As in, he'd be having Heart Demon after Heart Demon after his lengthy training session. Seriously, it's been brought up again and again throughout the story that the MC *needs* to learn to not be so damn neurotic and actually relax and talk to people for a change, him being in such a hurry to gain more power would only be detrimental to the development of both the MC and the story itself. Let me remind you that this is a *Jumpchain* fic, the very nature of the premise guarantees that he'd be able to reach unimaginable heights eventually. Stories like this are more about the journey than the destination, so don't be so quick to suggest min-maxing strats since it'd basically just make the story bland as the story goes on.

I think making a prologue isn't a bad idea, though I ultimately wouldn't really mind if there wasn't since the beginning felt fine already. Thanks for the chapter!

Yup, as I expected, a total loss for the navy. It's such a shame Akainu wasn't dealt with, but that man had plot armor so thick he could've been a main character. I wonder what the author's plans for him are. Also, it's a good thing Luffy recognized that the Navy actually does good for the world and decided to hold back in the end, they're all going to have to work double time after suddenly becoming short-staffed. Though with Luffy's sudden weakness, this is probably a blessing in disguise for him as he gets to train his body and Haki even further. Thanks for the chapter!

You have a point, but I feel like that's a rather shortsighted viewpoint, and way too similar to the dog eat dog view of Chinese novel characters. Perhaps you should refrain from reading too many Chinese novels. Yes, he could kill them all, but what if when he's gone, the next one in line to rule their respective villages is someone who hates Konoha with an undying passion and decides to use even the Tailed Beasts to try and lay waste to it? Even though the portrayal of it wasn't the best, the whole point of Naruto (the character and the series) is about getting out of the cycle of hatred that he and the world have been trapped in. Peter, even with all his power, wouldn't be stopping it by killing everyone that gets in his way. The cycle would just repeat by doing that.

1.) Because it's not his world. 2.) Different worlds, different ways of thinking. When in Rome and all that. 3.) Iirc he hasn't gone so far as to commit a mass slaughter of soldiers, ones that actually have families that would miss them at least. Hell, there's even a chance that there are genin below the age of 16 in their ranks, and he definitely hasn't gone so far as to kill children.

I mean, it's certainly something that a lot of the fandom considers possible at least. After all, he definitely has the potential to catch up to Whitebeard's strength.

Wow, a LOT is happening this chapter. Baby 5 finally joining the crew for real, Chopper somehow having a gigantic transformation, Luffy and Hancock almost exposing their true relationship, etc. I have to ask though, is the author doing alright?
