She can’t be so weak. She is not! She lost her parents, went through difficult times, finish her college, get a excellent internship, and had a meltdown because her boss shouted and was mean with her? I can’t accept that! Shout back or swallow your pride! There is no other option.

After you put them on paper the characters gain life and behave by their own. Because you are not responsible for the readers understanding. 🤣🤣🤣 Just for you know, I’m team Mark since the beginning.

I like slow burn too. But I like more the plot. What is holding me in this story is just the Edward’s disease and the idea of the marriage contract is being exposed by the ex. The romance, for me, is just the path that should be followed. In my opinion, slow burning the romance without some clues what could possibly be the plot is losing my interest. Something has to happen. Romance can’t be the end without a lot of difficulties.

Where is Edward to control the damage? He put Abigail in this position!!!!

I don’t know if it’s just me, but if I was her I’d never explain anything to him. My job is work and stay married for sometime and his job is to be prepared for take his father’s position. If I did something that he didn’t like I would apologize and follow his lead. It’s ok. The company is not mine. She is so full of herself. She can be good but she barely left the college. She should be more capable of listening and absorbing knowledge. I understand that she got hurt. But she is taking things too personal.

48 chapters for some tension is super slow burn. 🤣🤣🤣 Luckily, I’m reading while it’s been written or I’d probably jump some chapters to understand what is the book about or where is the plot twist.
