best cultivation novel I've ever read. well thought out characters and good mc really makes this novel stand out amongst others. and i just loved the world building that was done in the novel and even the concept of dao and laws and the cultivation system is well explained.

half?lmao literally all authors that are top ranked or their novels sitting at 4+ are just deleting bad reviews.no novel here is actually worth a read lmao.(okay maybe some are but you get my point) there is no way a novel is that flawless that it was liked by everyone that read it.

The Mc is the biggest pushover in any novel I've read and has an incredibly grating personality. Him and his father agree to him being enslaved and tortured because a bitch with a sad backstory threw a hissy fit over being disturbed when she would have been disturbed by the creatures attacking anyways. Then, the author justifies the woman enslaving him, and how it was for his own good, and that she's actually a super duper good person who the mc should fall in love with, and because the author is brain dead the mc actually agrees with the reasoning. I can only imagine the comments on Webnovel were constantly pointing out how stupid this was because every chapter there'd be more justification and the MC agreeing that the woman who enslaved him FOR YEARS and tortured him was justified because other people on the other side of the f#cking planet he has absolutely no relation with enslaved her first. The MC isekai'ed into this world with all his memories intact, but he acts and has the intelligence of a 6 year old. So many of his decisions are so obviously stupid I have to wonder if the author comes up with the logical action, flips a coin, and if it lands heads they inverse that decision. As an example, he was going to spend months in a dangerous situation while his mama goat stayed in the safe village surrounded by his strong friends and family. He gets an OP defensive amulet tailor made for the situation he was going into, and rather than using it himself he gives it to his mama goat, who surprise, surprise, never experienced any danger while he was gone. The so called strongest system, that he has 24/7 and will have for the rest of the life, routinely shuts off aspects because "you shouldn't become dependent on them". And it's the simplest shit. He was learning to shoot a bow and leveled up his archer class, which let him shoot the bow perfectly. His teacher calls him out on it and the system acts as if he'll ever be shooting a bow without the system's help and the SYSTEM BASICALLY TELLS HIM THE SYSTEM IS A CRUTCH HE SHOULDN'T USE. So he learns to shoot a bow like any other person without a system. I gave up around 190 and the system is largely utterly f#cking pointless. Not a single good character, the system is stupid, the adventures he went on weren't anything unique, etc. This novel offers nothing unique and isn't even good as a "turn your brain off" novel.
