Currently at chapter 530, I have noticed a pattern. In every arc a situation comes up, MC gets involved, then MC gets sidetracked further stretching the arc or forgotten altogether. There was the Academy and war arc. In novels these days, whenever there's a school/academy arc, you just know that arc will become useless a few months later. Even with just 1 school year, MC can't even make it through without a major event happening. No such thing as a proper timeline of events, just random chaos. An event could happen within an event that happened in an event. In terms of the novel itself though, good job so far.
Currently at chapter 21. Congratulations Healing System for joining the ranks of "Barely Teens MC". Nothing much to say but good novel so far.
Currently at chapter 175. At least this novel understands that even though MC is OP, he understands that he needs allies and they also need to be strong. Supporting characters aren't just a means to an end like using them, then they're just in the background. Combat scenes aren't that detailed which sometimes make it longer, but this is good in my opinion. The author is also making use of time right where the MC and friends take a break and train. As for the pacing of the story, I think it's just right. The author is making the MC strong fast to catch up to the frontline where the pacing will slow down. Overall, it's a good novel.
Currently at 119, what's up with novels nowadays? There's a rising trend of barely teen MCs like System POV, Runic Alchemist. Even idle conversations between friends are more mature than what children of their age should be. In terms of the novel itself, so far so good.
currently in chapter 85. At first, the story had a great start, MC is not dumb nor ignorant, the introduced characters are just right for the start, but then, it all went downhill at the secret realm arc. We were suddenly introduced to multiple powerhouses and even one god. It should 've been too early to introduce gods this early in the novel, one can't feel the true power of those beneath god-level if they suddenly appeared in the early stages. Even the world-building aspect sucks. We were just introduced to one city in the entire world let alone one continent or country but gods have already appeared!
As usual, the problem with most novels nowadays is story progression.MC can't go a day without a major event from happening. MC travels from one place, a major event happens that derails his journey and only reaches his destination after a brutal struggle of life and death. And that only happened in one day! The next day is also the same. While it feels like a lot has happened, in reality it's only been a week since the start of the novel. Fricking bull! Authors don't use time skip very well. For them, every single must be action packed! Anyway, the novel is good so far. Nice lore and world building, and characters. I wish MC could've been a solo player for much longer just with a lot of interaction with other players.
Unnecessarily complicated, the title is just a title with no relation to the MC's character or powers, messy love triangle that was thought to have been resolved only for a new reason to show up and it all starts all over again. It was good in the beginning...
Vandalieu in the Shadow slave-like world. One thing I can't feel in this novel is the power levels. The first volume already showcased powerful characters up to Rank 9 and even one deity. I can't get a feel as to how powerful they truly are because the MC ended up defeating a Rank 9 while being 7 years old. So what does that leave the rest of the novel? The endgame is defeating a God, but how would the novel go from there if the MC already defeated one of the apex powerhouses just from one volume of the novel? All in all, this is a good read
This is a novel with a lot of arrogant characters, even the mobbest of mob characters, with the thinnest face that with just a small insult will turn them into a maniac. I personally believe that the plot would progress a lot faster with just a few notable characters that deserve to be arrogant in it. Still a good novel, though.
