I couldn't contain my excitement, so I started bouncing up and down with joy. I caught sight of my adoptive parents, who were beaming proudly, and rushed over to give them a big hug. Though they may not be my first biological parents, I've grown quite attached to them, thanks to a bit of Stockholm syndrome.
