Maybe we can justify it as this is a cultivation world,every art, technology,skill is focused on one thing and one thing only(primarily) and that is providing strength.To me everything is a combat technique in a cultivation world,if you utilise it well.His Saiyan physique might have mutated in this world which has conceptual powers to be a concept itself,the concept of a Saiyan as beings who embody combat and strength.
