how much longer?
Honestly I am not an author myself and have never written a story before, so of course my opinion is formed without knowing the author's hardship fully. However in my opinion, there is too much monologue in the story, sometimes it may be better to just let the story show how the MC's actions played out. Many times, your explanations are self contradicting (making them not necessary in the first place), for example: "He should've run to them and prevented them from crossing the bridge at all costs since the Abyss itself is a form of death. But at the same time, it was exactly because he was unaware of their abilities that he did not carelessly approach them, as a timed combination of their powers might be enough to push him from a favorable...Yet... It wasn't like he was in a good position to begin with."The first para talks about him doing thing B instead of A, and then the second one says B is not good, so I would think that B is not necessary to mention at all. (I know this shows the indepth thinking process of the MC but again, i think it's not necessary).
The novel is enjoyable but the author writes it in a way that wastes chapters. The story development is very enjoyable and I have no qualms with a slow story as long as it continues to be entertaining. But the author delays it by using meaningless inner monologue. It's very pointless and has no reason to be there. If he could just summarize it or do something else the novel would be far better. But even with this flaw, I have gotten addicted to it 😂
even if it's a third level any i don't think bz should feel mortal danger, with all the new skills he magically learned on the bridge
