Very good start. The MC is an asgardian prince which is done slightly different than usual to keep the idea fresh. The writing is good and so far the characters seem realistic. I hope the author continues and doesn't just drop it right before it gets interesting.

The author trying to world build is fine, but they've spent way too much time on this conversation. The pay off of the 'Hero' being a Lannister was predictable, and the reason for Ned to fear/be wary of the citadel is convoluted and overly complex considering a simple "they hide innovations which could aid the North and plan to destroy the First Men as they are an Andal group" would be simpler and more realistic.
