I'm not saying he wasn't gifted a lot of power (though you have to admit that if he didn't learn how to use the knowledge he got gifted he would've been useless. all these powers he managed to steal or use because he worked to get to the point he could with the strong foundations he had.) but for example, he had to work for months on the portal to the Fae realms, he created his Yggdrasil spell, he learned to use reyrioku, and notice how his semblance completely fell behind ? that's because he didn't work on it like he did with his other powers. he's constantly working on projects like freeing ddraig, finding ways to infiltrate fgo, his bankai, preparations of war.... he got handed a lot of power but they would have been useless if he hadn't worked to make them display the level of power they do. the only power he didn't quite deserve in my opinion is the true Longinus since he stole it from a pretty weak guy and akatosh was the one to wake up big G.

yasaka is 400 and ultimate class, vene is similar in age as well and probably lower than that, izanami and meridia were born goddesses, jinn was stuck in her lamp since her birth.... they're all so much older than him, and most of them didn't have to work so hard in their life to achieve what they did, or did it by necessity or duty. from their point of view he's really pushing himself because they're drawing from their own experience.... and for the others who actually worked so hard willingly ( Probably Scatach) it's simply because she loves and want the best for him. (also it's not necessarily because you love something that it's not tiring to work on it. (talking from experience.)). so yeah, they're "babying" him whenever they can because they don't want him to live through those things like they did.
