I've got a deep voice, and people were constantly thinking I was older. I get compliments on it all the time, and besides, I don't think any man with a deep voice is insecure about it.

yea, losing control isn't something a true leader does. Allowing ones emotions to control them is unbecoming of a leader in general.

Hasn't helped him so far. He's been incredibly stupid battle tactics wise.

It has great potential, but it has some serious plot holes. The mc is supposed to be smart but makes very stupid decisions. He's supposed to be a historian who knows about battle tactics, but he doesn't even know basic battle tactics. To give an example, 150 men die from a guy who's only one stage above the prince, and the prince is definitely not the strongest amongst his troops. I won't say more for those who want to read it.

i thought they left for the academy at like 12 or 14, but he's 18 now and still hasn't gone?

he literally blames everything involving emotions on the dark element rather than just owning it like a real man would.
