It would be an interesting concept. I can see it being like a pressurised water blade, capable of cutting through almost anything. Instead of the millions of microscopic needles that attack a person's very cells like rasenshuriken. But that's a problem for the future LOL.

I gave it a chance. Read ten chapters, found myself skimming through it by the end. The prose needs a lot of work, the scenes have no suspense and the overall story just doesn't have anything that warrents my continued interest. This kid is already 18 and still a nobody. If it was intentional, then that just means the author has no foresight. LEGENDS are the best, and they show it early on. Messi being a prime example. Him STARTING at 18 already makes him far worse then his competitors it terms of future fame. I'm disappointed with it, but it seems like a trend with sport novels. Every author botches the beginning.

Fist chapter was good, I got excited for a strategist/puppet master that controls the court through intelligence rather than pure skill. Similar to the redhead from kuroko no basket. I got that impression from his observation about the need for teamwork and communication. Anyway, it all went down hill from there. The Mc is a puppet, not the puppet master. He’s a slave to the system, and the author completely discards all the build up about his theoretical aptitude. Incredibly disappointing and irriating to read. I stopped shortly after. Awesome potential, waste on the wrong author. I recommend starting this with low expectations to avoid having them shattered.

Completely understandable. That's why I'm currently in the process of rewriting it all from scratch, then replacing everything at once. Additionally, the reliance on the trope of "the old gods granting knowledge" as a convenient explanation undermines the plot's integrity. Overall, a promising idea, but not her more.

Well I would love your opinion, my idea for the change was this (Makes a pact with Spirit Dragons (that look like chinese dragons) after Arthur Pendragon did them a favour which saved them from great peril. They have no physical form. From there, every Pendragon goes to that sacred place, and makes a pact with A dragon spirit, capable of harnessing their powers after going through several trials, each one unlocking more powers) your idea is great as well, what do you think needs changing, what could I incorporate?

I'm ashamed to admit I hadn't thought about that. We can cover both, it could be interesting to see how both sides affect each other in close proximity.
