The question I have still is, what happened in the beginning of the book when Louise’s aunt had the knife slip and injure her? It doesnt make sense for Emily to have wanted ro harm her aunt. Also what is unexplainable is the forest when Louise kept going in circles. so far, Emily doesn’t seem to have powers to alter reality. And finally, when Louise had found information on the Reed will in the file, there seemed to be 2 spirits who were meddling.

I forgot about that fourth casket and detail! And Lady Viola played it off like nothing happened!

That’s actually an idea What if Mr Wensley had the affair with Marlow. Maybe she got pregnant or perhaps the Reed family was blackmailed since they are wealthy? And Sr. Reeds helped kill her and the family

So I think that Allison has a lot to do with this. First, when Allison and graham were getting married, don’t forget the time when Allison was talking to louise with a smile and turned to a scowl or a frown when louise turned away. Also, the ghost never really attacks louise when someone else is around. Remember the water retracting from the staircase when graham stepped out of the room. BUT, issue shave occurred when Louise has been alone with Alison. Remember hide and seek, Alison was standing in front of the closet and about to open the door, but Louise saw a decayed hand reaching for the closet. After the closet incident, Alison tells her mom, “she knows.” Also remember louise getting pushed to the lake. It had to be Allison because again, until this point, louise doesn’t get attacked with other people around. Louise saw a hand in the reflection of the water. And finally, when you take into account the will that Louise found, Allison’s husband and daughter are currently the sole heirs to the Reed fortune. Then again, Lady Viola has told Louise that Alison’s husband isn’t involved with the family business because they want to keep it in the family. Lady Viola and Allison are definitely plotting about this family fortune and keeping Graham’s possible future kids out of it.

Is it just me, or did anyone else forsee Louise nearly dying from accidentally ingesting nuts soon?

You are a brilliant writer! Your books have been a part of my daily life for a year now A few months ago, I had caught up to you on this one and decided to read all of your other works so that i could come back to binge read here. I loved readinf about Damien and his pet and the Lords of all of the other lands. But most of all, I loved Maddie and Calhoun’s story. i loved every part of it and am so sad it’s at an end!

Can Theo just be open and honest with his intentions and feelings now? She has been hurt enough by him and so many around her!

I LOVED this chapter! Jerome needs love, and so does Maggie! I would love to read a spinoff book of these two! And Sven should be the next one to be torn to pieces!
