If Awesome was a webstory, this is it. Then go buy the actual books. They're out now.
hey as someone who's been reading this amazing story for a long time, I felt I should let the aurthor know that their work is being used as advertising for a game. and not a good one at that.
could you imagine that? truly? to see a fight and then know how to do it and understand to the fullest what each gesture would mean and why it was needed? to grasp the working of someone's skill just by seeing them in action? seriously this is an amazing skill. so it's understandable by the aurthor wants to make sure you get it.
you must be a healer. all the dnd players I know who use magic go for the strongest spells to do the most damage not light bedroom candles.
but it is. unless you're a healer.
because it is? when you play a mage or wizard character, do you not relish in learning stronger more destructive spells? sure the booster spells are helpful, but if you got your hands on Thunderbolt instead of Sparks or Incinerator instead of Embers, you'd use those to kill your enemies and do sonwith a smile.
of all life skills, being a mage isn't a life skill. the crafting, herbalism, smithing, are trades that one can learn in any mmo, rpg, from any character. think WoW with all professions unlocked. you still only be your starting class, but could mine, gather, skin, hunt, fish, and all those others skills that let you make money
the only reason I got hooked on this app is because I saw an advertisement with this story. it is well drawn, well told, and just plain freaking awesome. come for the story, stay because it only releases 2 chapters a week. 5 out of 5.
so a magic clip on or a magic piercing earring?
you mean your door doesn't go boom! when you open it? how odd...
