Dunno. Itachi got a lot of utility out of his Crows. The Snakes main points are the big summons which cost a lot of chakra. Itachi is not a chakra monster and frankly due to his own Personal power and his Mangekyu abilities has better uses for his Chakra

Probably because Uchiha arr 1v1 monsters. In a 2v1 you can atleast attack their back where they can't constantly monitoror Genjutsu you with the Sharingan

Its one of his natural affinities. Its also by far the best element. Lightning Chakra Mode alone is enough reason to focus on it. And Lightning Chakra Mode enhances your body even against a eind user. Plus Chidori is also extremly versatile and powerful. And his second element is fire which gets enhanced when coliding with a wind element. You can be great at one thing or meh at five. Also Naruto rarely uses wind element and later on when he actually is a threat has all elements.

Konoha is basicly a military base of the Land of fire and the Hokageis its General. All Shinobi are sworn to the Daimyo. Normal people just don't want to be ruled by super powered mutants. Nc Hammer did a pretty good Video on the relationship between the Daimyo and Konoha. Something like the true power of the shinobi world or so. You often don't know a lot of canon stuff if you don't read the canon novels. That being said in a crisis a Kage will likely do what he deems right and ignore the Daimyo

Gengar would be quite a good choice. As a ghost type it doesn't need expensive food and this mc realy won't mind slaughtering a bunch of pokemon for their death energy

It might not be total terrible if your opponent doesn't know you have it. Under the right circumstances it could win you a battle. But here with more than 4 moves per pokemon i am a bit skeptical.

Reuniclus would be good too esp if life orb exists/works like in the games. Axantor would be a total beast (good typing/stats+ sheer force and sharpness).
