Hello, Author here. I don’t have too much experience writing novels, but i’ve put a lot of time and effort into this one. Please let me know if you have any advice or critiques! I would love your support and I hope you Enjoy!

I’m caught up on this novel, and enjoyed it for the most part. The MC being a villain is a nice change of pace compared to most novels. Additionally the concept is also very interesting. If you enjoy a system like power system with decent intricacy and a unique concept this is for you.

So I read decently into this story until about chapter 100. I consider myself an avid reader and enjoyer of OP MC novels but I’m gonna say something I don’t normally say. This one took it way too far. The MC basically becomes the strongest character in the entire world within 50 chapters and is constantly “hiding his strength.” I saw almost no potential in continuing at all. These kind of stories just don’t have any substance to them. There’s no suspense, nothing to look forward to. Overall I don’t see very many people enjoying this story unless I just didn’t read far enough in.

So I don’t think this novel deserves the hate it’s getting on these reviews. While it is very similar to swallowed star, the author does a good job remodeling it into something of his own. If you like a novel with a system and an OP MC, this one is for you. My one complaint is how the ending was pretty rushed. Overall I enjoyed it enough to finish it and recommend it to anyone who liked Swallowed Star.

So I’ve read up to about chapter 1000 on mtl. The translation has been really good, same with the updating. The power system and world building are also surprisingly good. My only major complaint is that the pacing is super weird. The MC seems to be getting stronger very rapidly along with his group, however the pacing of actual time and the chapters is very slow. For example in about the past 300 or so chapters only 20 days have passed in the story. Normally this type of pacing would be way to slow for me, however the MC keeps getting stronger and it allows the story to be very detailed. However, I would assume that at this pace, for the story to finish, it would require another 3000+ chapters at minimum. Overall a good read if you like a game-like power system with skills/laws incorporated along with leadership and war.
