The story is really good so far, can't wait to this develop into more. MHA vibes but it's better in my opinion, MHA has a very whiney character while here the mc is not whiney and his power is better than deku's in NY opinion

no I think the author is making a distinction between memory, personality, and possibly will? where you are how you are not because of how you've lived but because of your soul or something idk. personally I dont really like that but whatever it's a fantasy novel on webnovel I'm here to be intertained
