You need to make the MC more prominent in the story. Right now, he's basically Sunny 2.0. Every fanfic I've read has pretty much just followed the plot of what happened in the Forgotten Shore. For example, maybe at one point in the Forgotten Shore, the MC becomes the leader instead of Nephis, or he's the one who was left behind instead of her, which will lead to more changes to the original timeline. Let your creativeness go wild. Make your fanfic stand out more than other Shadow Slave fanfics out there, and then you'll have more people comment on the story.
