I have 2 theories on rate ups unless someone already knows exactly how they work if so please explain. 1) The rate is still the same, say 1%, but if you pull that 1% the rate up character has a 5% chance if you had already got that 1%. 2) Its a percentage increase of the existing rate, say normal is 1% and rate up is 5% you actually only get a 0.05% increase in chance leading to 1.05% chance.

Yes, however what I meant was that even remembering which part came before another or even what actually happened in that part is nigh impossible. It's not the inspiration that is hard, there is an entire genre for that called fanfic, but rather the ability to remember if A came before C or before D and after B. And what even happened in A, B, C, and D to even be able to improve upon it
