Like I said it’s better to give him level or gears to his powers. And let people know about them. So that we realize oh . He did not use Sage mode and kcm mode yet and is only fighting so hard because he is fighting handicap. If we know that he is fighting handicap and can actually win if he uses his full power. No one will complain like this.

As a author you should know the do’s and dont’s in novels. One of the biggest taboo is Nerfing. Author your novel is not perfect and no one expects it to be. After all we all understand you are a novice writer trying your best. There are many other problems your novel has short chapter, dragging story, writing 2 para of previous chapters in current one etc. But to be honest although it’s annoying it’s not much big of a deal. Because your story is good. Even though the filler arc of when he went in past was boring but still people are ok with it. Because we know you will eventually come in line. But now this. I know you mentioned that he is not using his full power. But this is Nerfing at its worst. You need to realize that the Mangekyo Sharingan Sasuke is not even in top 10 when it comes to power level. And now you are making such a character give Kirito such a hard time. This past few chapters are the worst you have written so far. Period. My suggestion to you is simple. If you want people to know that your Mc is holding back. Make sure you clearly line out his power levels. Eg in DBZ they have super Sayan levels, in one piece they have gears. So if you want to have a good fight make sure you let people know that Mc has yet not used Conquerors Haki, Yet not used 9 tails etc. because from this chapter although you tried to mention it. It was not enough details.

So you are saying his curse mark is stronger than susanoo. I think you need to consider what you are writing here author. The fact a Haki infused punch was able to destroy susanoo but not hurt Sasuke seems a little silly. And lastly Sasuke thing of giving him random Powerup just for him to able to fight Mc is forced in my opinion. Too forced.

The funny thing here is forget about Normal Mangekyo Sharingan. Even if it’s eternal he should be able to fight head on and even defeat Sasuke. He has Haki, 9 tails, chakra chains, flying thunder god, sealing etc. Not to mention the dumbest thing and perhaps the biggest weakness of dojutsu in Naruto anime. Which only Danzo seems to realize for some reason. Anyone can just pluck the eyes out and that’s it. From super shadow they will be as weak as a jonin again. But for plot purpose no one goes for their eyes

This fight makes no sense. Even if Sasuke gets Mangekyo Sharingan unless he has eternal Mangekyo he should not even be a able to face Kirito. I mean just the chain ability should be easily able to restrain Sasuke, not to mention that sauske can actually keep up with his swordsmanship. Here is a thing author. This is what happens when you write a strong character. You make them defeat countless strong enemies. And then just for plot purpose you suddenly make other characters strong unreasonably. That’s what you did. If Kirito is struggling with just this how is he going to fight the 6 paths. I know he has not used Haki but let’s be honest. Haki is not on same level as 6 path.
