To be honest, Strax really is extremely bad at communicating (caring) for his wives if they aren't literally in front of him. Didn't bring his first 4 wives up to speed, forgot about the spirits. And not only now but as a whole. He goes and does his own thing until his wives find him, he apologises about leaving in the dark and then rinse and repeat. It's getting pretty annoying.

This doesn't sound good. It sounds like he will hide it for 200 more chapters.
