There is also loads of proof to the counter. At least in regards to the gods humanity has invented, sure there is likely something beyond our comprehension out there that started the universe but it's just that beyond our comprehension what makes us think we can define or understand what one might call a deity which resides beyond the scope of our universe when our thoughts are bound by the reality we live in.

Some talents/skills are magic based. i.e. your talent is wizard or mana user etc lol I'd presume. So more generic talents. Or maybe there is mana and talents can relate to it idk.
