I know that. Also, eventually, in the future, power would probably get to their heads from being the only leaders of a powerful village and gathering of powerful clans. So, they still had to go. It's just sad.

Does it want the perfect host to jump into? Since Jean is it's perfect choice host but can't properly control it's power and her body is weak, not like the MC's body. So if it can get a person like Jean but better (her bloodline mixed with the MC's), I'm probably reaching and that's not what's going on. 🤷🏽♀️ Maybe the immortal bird is just a big pervert and can feel the pleasure when her host gets with someone with her phoenix powers 🤷🏽♀️
