MC's forces always wins with pseudo-pyrrhic victory. The Battle scenarios is realistic but what I dont understand is why is the author chasing after semi realistic war scenarios when a system is involved.... The start was okay but then author started to use the troupe of MC and reinforcements always arriving at the very last moment to save the ambushed forces. This happen extremely frequently, I hate that! With a system, the MC is still facing hell level difficulty while there are precedent about normal geniuses having better statistics without system than the MC with system... How ridiculous! Author writes it as if the MC after one level up has become very strong but similar to many other novels, he still always is barely able to handle his enemies... I am speechless on this point, might as well not give him a system at this point... Then atleast the MC can reasonably state that he is trying his level best... There are many things that are poping out right now that I do not like but in the sea of cliche, repeatative troupe using novels and clearcut trash novels, this novel still has some worth reading but I can already feel that I will skip this novel very soon... Good concept, but in presence of a system, the author is too illogically trying to find balance between forces involved in war and trying to make the MC barely enough powered(non-OP)
Super OP MC - Fine by me Harem - Monotonous Meh! Enemies - No Individuality, Monotonous again, Bro WTF? Diplomacy and Territory Management - Does not exist! Kingdom Building(Politics, Infrastructure, Industries) - Not mentioned/Not given any description about these... Basically MC gets system, gets rewards, uses it to kill people/enemies left and right(enemies just deliver themselves, they dont use recon or diplomacy or conspiracy or anything), enemies just provoke the MC and then are killed, rinse and repeat... Oh yeah! Forgot to mention, MC and other "Blue Star" Leaders/MCs cronies mass produce and provide S class talent at subsidy rate, all logical reprecurssion, crime rate fluctuation, market effects are not mentioned... Author has the mindset that if everyone is given king level power except for himself and some of his forces, then everyone will be equal and sing world peace... I guess! Further conclusion, Severely biased wish fullfillment novel, I cant bring myself to read more than chapter 150-ish cuz there is no difference, same kind of enemies will spawn with different names and will die by MCs hands, no difference... Novel is entertaining at first just like 90% novels are but once the newness is washed away, it becomes boring... Still to other readers, give this novel a try and see if its your cup of tea! Peace out!
Pardon my grammar
So you get destroyed professionally , get ghosted by everyone, tortured physically and mentally, your girlfriend who betrayed you for whatever reason and still gets humiliated in front of you, you have your body practically ripped apart and at last die of pain and suffering... Then you get the gift of ressurection and the first thing you do is go to a government body to announce you are alive full of optimism and vigor in a society where the guy who started your nightmare is about to ascent to the throne as the emperor on the very same day? Yeah! I read enough and am out of here, the entry setting is a character break in itself, no logical or even broken individual will even act like the MC did here... This world which has the ability of ressurection, with a cruel royal family somehow doesnt has the ability to sound the alarm when a flagged person especially a guy personally Offed by the royal family comes and announces that he is alive... Cool
The novel has limited world background, the description and various scenerios shows that the world where the novel is based has no huge prospects, like we could already see second strongest family of magician's world's daughter by chapter 20, MCs friend is deemed as strongest genius magic comunity has ever seen, like how limited is this world that it has just birthed the strongest genius? (Keyword here being strongest) There are other cons but lets move on to next point... MC is an overly enthusiastic and an over optimistic individual but let me ask you this A guy who is and is reminded repeatedly that he is the weakest individual in the entire magic community, bullied at every step of life, ignored and treated unfairly even by his teachers and society, how does such a person become so open that he showcases his secrets to his friends with only 1 month of friendship? How is he optimistic about the so called friends that he only made AFTER he showcased his power and talent? How is he not vigilant against the world and shows his life steal ability which even any sane idiot will consider as evil? Without any prior implying, all of a sudden MC and his group which I consider as students/teenagers have no qualms against killing many people(rogue magicians). I understand them not having qualms on killing beasts and monsters as they destroyed and killed countless humans during early magic era but how come they are so non chalent about killing people which as insuniated in this novel is their first time killing? Overall world background is lacking or gives off small scale vibe, novel has chunni vibes, missions and actions that MC undertakes showcase him as an villain instead, that life steal is pretty big red flag (insuniated via how the author wrote such scenerios) Anyway This novel is not my cup of tea, so peace out fellow reader!
Hmm this novel is filled with optimism, someone asks MC to be his friend, 3 weeks later MC is sharing secrets that you wont even divulge to your childhood friends, This novel has massive chunni vibe and some of the missions and MCs actions showcase him as evil degenrate and the idiot doesnt clean the mess nor erases his traces after stealing there life force, these actions can get him hunted down but somehow he is safe cuz his friend erased the bully's memory and everybody forgot about the whole mind manipulation fiasco somehow.... Horseshit novel
Its good read but the MC is a bit too calculative and manipulative then to my liking... The skills are cool but I dont like the maxing out part like martial arts (10/10) cuz that suggests that he has reached the maximum of that skill which is honestly not to my liking cuz that suggests in this early stage of novel he is maxing out stuffs, honestly this kinda gives a restrictive vibe to the novel and not one of infinite possibilities... Hope there are skill merge or skill upgrade feature added in the future
This novel had good concept but clicheness killed it, not the cliche of chinese novels rather the cliche of most chinese authors, showcasing unreasonable amount of trust and respect to the govt., MC sharing his and his loved ones secret by himself just cuz some tom, dick and harry came to him asking for cooperation in the name of govt agency, sharing secrets of his black tech level abilities for god knows why, indirectly(almost direct) using nationalistic elements and MC acting weirdly like sometime acting super smart, next acting arrogantly and sometimes doing stupid stuffs like mentioned above.... Anyway am outta here, no point in wasting brain cells at this novel
Indeed chapter 44 marked the end of my interest in this novel as well, we all love our countries but never to a point where if we get a special ability, we go around and actively advertise it to everyone, maybe overly patriotic guys will do that but I still doubt even they will be so selfless.. This MC practically handed everything a person holds dear including his and his loved one's secret to the government showcasing his overt trust on it, chinese propaganda at its peak i guess
Are you deliberately making MC do stupid things here? There are so many what ifs if he lets hocrux be, the only constant will be destroyed hocruxes...
