They were barely against him when he was alive, even when they knew most of the stuff he did. No point in showing them suddenly hate him more now that he's dead. What's even the use of hating a dead person, especially when that person is helping you create strategies? So, while I understand you, doing otherwise wouldn't have seemed inconsistent.

Won't deny. I had too many ideas regarding this and went quite a bit overboard (only defense I have is that I was struggling to write back then, and this part allowed me to pick up the pace a bit). Still, it goes to show the perspectives of other characters and how they change once the situation becomes severe (granted, the situation being fake kinda douses the intensity of the situation. Regardless, this will have repercussions later down the line).

nah. Danzo's loyalty to Konoha is well established. It's just his personal ambitions grew too much and he sort of had a main character syndrome (only he can do everything and others are all a waste).
