Completely agree, like why don’t they get some subordinates? Could really help out in the long run, sure there’s the chance they might betray you but hey that’s life right?

I like the story, but I’m still confused by the MC’s change in personality. I suppose you could say the life or death situation at the beginning brought about this change in character and personality. But to be honest I don’t really see it. He was a bumbling fool at first. I mean, the guy was hyperventilating over meeting the dean of the school. Now he is the physical embodiment of stoicism. It doesn’t make any sense. I’ll still be reading however as the plot is interesting.

He made a tactical mistake, what do you mean no reason for his commander to chew him out? Being in a battlefield doesn’t matter, have you not heard of a chain of command, the commander has a plan and those under him follow orders. The commander decides how and when to use a weapon or asset. Again, I ask, have you never been on a sports team, or even any organized setting where you have levels of authority?

The anime Ajin, that is where I based his power from. He can generate invisible black matter(IBM) which he uses to create the body of his creations. They are not like madras’s limbo clone as they are not in limbo, they can just go invisible due to what they are made of, IBM. The souls are used as a source of power.
