This novel is not that bad. Some reviews are just exaggerating. It does have some problems, tho. Firstly the grammar. In a novel, text is everything, and here it's ruined by various errors, from grammar to just distraction errors (pressing the wrong key on the keyboard). This type of error is so easy to fix, just use an extension like LanguageTool... Second, the "hiding the true power". I'd like to mention that is one of the tropes I like the most, but in this novel is used way too much. To "hide his power" he actively refuses to get stronger, wasting YEARS of his life when there is a looming threat to the world. Sure, technically he gets a little stronger (he improves his technique), but not much. And basically all the strength he has now is due to plot armor (entering the dungeon and getting the fruit + rewards), not because of effort. Additionally, I hate how conceited and superior he acts towards the others. Even with a reincarnation, a system, and the dungeon, he's barely stronger than most people his age, and considerably weaker than the true geniuses (like Ceres). Why does he act like he's so much better than them? Just to add something, I hate how he acts with Hero. Why does he hate him so much? He acts like it's his fault that the calamity is happening, while Hero was just the last human to die in the vision (there is the possibility that there is something more, since he had a weird vision while he was sleeping). So, my biggest gripe with this novel is the MC. He's simply not likable.
I mean you refuse to get stronger to avoid showing talent, so I would say yes.
It's a lot worse than I thought, sadly. I dropped after only 8 chapters, but they were quite long, and enough to understand that it's not for me. First of all, the writing is bad, which is a huge problem in a novel. I really didn't like the weapon choice. I'm not a fan of a bow, but it's still fine, but a crossbow? It's just a lamer version of the bow. And since the problem was the MC not having enough strength for the bow, then crossbow doesn't really solve the problem, especially since there were firearms available! And in the scene after, he's struggling to carry the crossbow, showing that the choice sucked. And how lame was the fight in chapter 7? Firstly, the others in his team were useless, then he arrives and acts as a tank with his crossbow? How, why? And then out of nowhere, he randomly gets a skill to slow down time, and get this: HE SHOTS 10 TO 20 THOUSANDS BEES IN 5 SECONDS. Where did he get all the bolts? Where did he get the strength and stamina to pull the crossbow 20 thousand time? How much was time slowed down by to let him shoot that many times? The entire fight just doesn't make any sense, I have no idea what the author was thinking. And finally, the novel is in hiatus, which is another issue.
I'm so happy🥹. I love how G3 handled the romance, it felt so satisfying... And if something bad happens to them, I'm gonna be so angry.
Are we reading the same novel? He killed people from the great clans to prevent them from involving civilians/soldiers in their mess.
Like what else are they supposed to do?
Great novel! I love the writing style, the humor, and the main character. Something a lot of novels lack are interesting side characters, and this novel excels in that! There are a lot of cool characters, and I hope they will remain relevant for the entire novel. I'm particularly looking forward to how things will develop with Juliana. What is the plan he has in mind, and how she's gonna react. I do hope he's not going to completely screw her over, since she had a pretty shitty life already. Another interesting aspect was the power system, where each character has a deck of cards that composes their abilities. Cards can summon items, beasts, or use passive/active skills. This means that anyone could have any power, and it makes for interesting fights. Additionally, the fact that they can be exchanged means they can be used for deals etc. The only problem I see right now is the lack of chapters, as there are only 130 out right now, and the upload speed is not as fast as other novels, but the chapters are quite long.
