Human in a Demon's Hide

I had recently enrolled in the military as a lowly footsoldier. Oh, before you could proceed any further, let me tell you about myself. I ain’t some patriotic soldier that’ll lay down my life for the sake of my country. Hell no! That shit is for the people with loose screws! I only had a few goals when I joined the army: March into battle, kick some ass, and earn me some cash! Achieving glory on the way wouldn’t hurt. I just need enough money to feed my little brother and sister. Their world is all I want to protect. The glory is for washing clean the stains that my father left on our family name. We became such a joke in the country that even our mother abandoned us. I don’t know if he really did betray the country, but that doesn't matter. For my little siblings to suffer the same mockery and humiliation that I did is unacceptable! To protect the smiles of my only siblings, I'll do anything. Yet, life manages to shit on you when things are just getting good. --------------------------- Hello, author-san here! This is my first story, set up in a fantasy world. It's based on the medieval AND steam era where magic is rare and alchemy is used widely as a weapon by people. There will be lots of action, adventure, betrayal, tragedy, romance, etc. ahead. Warning- The mc is a bit mean and foul-mouthed introvert. There would be strong language and lots of monologue narration by the MC. The chapters are fast-paced and progressing faster. Also, English isn't my first language, so don't expect perfect grammar :( P.S. - I appreciate constructive critiques and feedback! Alex Dcosta was your typical isekai protagonist who finds himself waking up in another world. He finds himself in the body of a young boy with totally badass powers. But soon his joyful moment last until he realizes in this new magical world, there was no internet and quickly succumbs to despair. He realized the fact that he won't be able to continue to watch his favorite anime series and falls in depression. Just when a mysterious being makes a contract who gives Alex back his smartphone from the earth realm. But there was a catch, to stream his favorite anime he needed internet but there was none in this fantasy world. Hence there was an app installed in the phone itself which had certain quest posted in it. If Alex was able to complete a certain quest from the app, he would be awarded internet data which he can utilize to stream his favorite anime. The difficult the quest, the bigger internet data. Join Alex, a hardcore weeb who transforms and bends this fantasy world to his hobbies. Also for some reason, the gods of that realm were out for Alex’s blood.

Gods & Demons Are Much Closer than You Think

I seriously thought god didn't exist, just a made up stuff by some fantasy believing humans. Until I did something that at first didn't give much thought about it. I never thought that by mistakenly breaking a deity's statue and intentionally not giving a shit about it, would come back to bite my ass. And then I was introduced to a whole different world that I could never imagine it could ever exist in the first place. It was as if all the characters from fantasy novels and comics came popping right out in real life. People say Gods lives in Heavens, whereas Hell is the abode of Demons! BULLSHIT! You could meet them in the nearest bar, that's one of their most favorite hangout places. Whereas some do part time job like delivering pizza, attending school, holding overnight trips and etc. BUT I don’t give a shit! I just want to return to my normal life!

The Demon Lord Candidate

Samael was a half human-half demon which is a result of a human experiment. He somehow did not lose his sanity unlike other test subjects, and the Devil jewel shard infused miraculously. He escaped with the help of the jewel’s power and was on the run. The kingdom has issued a huge bounty over the last remaining test subject, to be retrieved dead or alive. Things looked grim for Samael while fleeing from the military, bounty hunters and also struggling to not lose his sanity as the shard started to take control of his body and converting him to a demon. The jewel’s acceptance itself meant he was deemed worthy to be a candidate to the Demon Lord’s position, the sole human to be a demon lord candidate among the other chosen 100 pure blooded demons. This is the journey of Samael's survival and his quest for revenge.
