Garland

Its a good story but it suffers from the same cliche plot that it follows. MC taking the place of a father who fixes his mistakes and tries to be better to his family and it follows it to a tee. Even his interaction with the butler, forcing the butler in speaking the truth and saying that its good is really just so bland. The story suffers because the MC is average and boring in terms of personality, the only thing that he has is his knowledge of canon events and that is it. He is generic and not overall interesting to read.

The story feels force on how it tries to portray dark themes as it feels like its just their for the sake of being edgy to an almost cartoonish level. The MC's backstory is a cliche tragic story that really doesn't even give a feeling of tragedy just the overall cliche way of what a tragic backstory is. It feels like edgy for the sake of being edgy that its not even a good read.

A rewrite could be good though i kinda wish that the MC's story didn't start at the actual very beginning. Maybe he awakes immediately as Rokuro at the actual start of the Manga instead of going way back. Would have been far interesting. As for its contents, i found that is has the system with a personality which i never liked i it tends to act as a full on guidance or just a way for the authot to push plot without it being natural in terms of storytelling. If this was Rokuro just guessing and learning stuff, it would have made his progress much much better. I also see chapters full of Infodumps with System Infodumps.

This whole Tournament Arc has been just weird. I wish it was handled more differently or just continue on to the next world.

Man it has been almost a month since this story was updated. Is it abandoned?

I freaking knew it. Just like i commented in the past, Kai's existence overall did nothing. From Impel Down to Marineford, he never changed anything significant. Even here Ace and Whitebeard died showcasing just how much he is just a tag along with nothing bringing new or changes in the canon. Even your past reasoning on why Kai didn't just kill Sadi despite beating her resulting in her doing the same thing in canon like releasing the Jailer Beasts didn't make sense. He still beat her and was now an escapee from Impel Down making his Bounty still high regardless of what he did.

The Author changed the title. The template didn't exist.

I hardly believe that it is possible for the MC to change. Even his past life he is the same generic nice guy so yeah nothing is gonna change at all. His personality, his interactions with many characters just screams the same. Heck, the author even changed other character's personality, especially Rito, because of how just similar they are, the only thing is that the MC doesn't have that Lucky Pervert thing. With how boring he already is, what does it matter with how many situations he is thrust upon. He is pretty much just the generic nice harem protagonist but is just self aware of the situation.

I wasn't really bothered by him if he wasn't aggressive or such but I just wished that he was more than just generic nice guy. I don't even bother with his capabilities considering that the dude is pretty much getting rewards left and right.

This story just went completely downhill. After having such a good opening, the mc turned out to be just some generic nice guy without much personality in him.
