Trust? Happily? Where did you get that impression? Dude barely stopped himself from attacking him. If there was another guide available, he would’ve gotten a switch with no hesitation. He doesn’t like him, he doesn’t really trust him, he’s doing this out of necessity.
Will he ever find a way to at least mitigate it? Because having his strongest weapon also be his own Kryptonite is gonna get really bad, really fast.
If nothing else, it could be a side arm for if someone gets inside of the range of his spear. Or if he’s in a tight space that would hinder his spear.
Because, he has a path in mind and he couldn’t get all the pieces he needed before the tide was on them.
Counter is no longer valid. Just read through this again and it was obviously re written up till this point.
In our world, you’re right. But it seems in cultivation stories that 9 times out of 10 , the rarer something is, the more useful it is. I’ve never seen a super rare resource in a cultivation story be anything less than useful.
He did clear what debt he had to her when he saved them, but that wasn’t the only reason he took care of them. He did see her as a mother figure and honestly loved them both as family. So everything from that point on was him making sure his family was as taken care of as possible before he parted ways with them.
…Why do I have the feeling that Reta is about to have an “unfortunate accident”?
….. He can erase his footprint online, but that does literally nothing to erase memories of people that saw him entering or leaving the place with her.
….He literally had to burn his bloodline to LIVE after what they did to the body’s original owner. If he hadn’t done that, he would have bled out probably right after they left.
He’s also only been a cultivator for only a few months.
He only knows where 11 of them are. There are hundreds, possibly thousands of demons out in the world. There’s no way he can find all of them in time to do what you’re suggesting.
I mean, yeah, it was stupid. But honestly, why tell him? I mean yeah, keep an eye out, be careful, blah blah, bit if he runs into a criminal immortal, won’t he already be dead basically? Not like he could run from them or his servants could stop them.
I think that it meant like Spirit King or above. Spirit Lord isn’t high enough yet, if I’m remembering right.
It was, but wasn’t. Sure, it was his past life’s consciousness that did it, but I’m running on the theory that they can only take over to do what he actually wants to do. First he got taken over because he was too weak to kill the demon, so the demon slayer took over, then he wanted to kill this blood sect members but his morality was holding him back, so the stone cold killer took the wheel.
Spineless? These people are like 3 major realms MINIMUM stronger than him. He’d be a toddler trying to fight an actual dragon. He’s not being spineless, he’s being smart.
Oh, I dunno, so he can get more demon sealing techniques, find out more about the games origins, get more treasures to make him and his faction stronger in the real world? There needs to be a balance now that he knows both worlds are real
What do you mean? This whole arc was about him getting used to his body, starting to bring his techniques to the real world, and improving his real world combat skills. Hell, he even started to temper his body. It’s not like he’s been doing nothing
