it's not like people haven't tried... it's a hard series to do justice to when it's a kid's show that was more spoof than actually anything noteworthy of! I knew of at least two different people that have tried... and either the story is shite or the actors didn't know how to get to the payoff... the fandom is also a "problem" because we want it to be good and everyone's definition of good quality changes. There's also the fact that the first iteration of the MMPR burned a lot of people, those actors were still in school and became a gang.

author should make up their mind if their protagonist is male or female.

in the future, after a few years, everything is up. I mean like maybe a decade from this point in story-time... wouldn't mind if you wrote them connecting together as friends first and maybe a second try at romance... more as an adult relationship between them.
