idk about 'in love,' but iirc they were supposed to be romantically involved..
In theory it should actually be a lot. The total population of the North should be in the millions. Their potential fighting force would be in the hundreds of thousands. The problem is that they're too spread out and don't have efficient transportation, which means they can only mobilize a fraction of their fighting force at one time. Moreover, they're currently in Autumn and need to harvest before winter. So in practice, the North could probably only mobilize about 20,000 per army, but they could sustain many waves of armies of this amount if they recalled the preceding wave and set up good supply lines.

This. I always get confused by these fanfics in which Jon publicly displays his heritage and none of the norhtern lords seem to care. They all lost family members and thousands of soldiers in the rebellion. Logically, either the war was a farce and all their sacrifices meaningless, or Jon himself is a bastard product of r*pe, in which case he's not legally the heir to anything. So unless a dragon delivers itself to his doorstep (like in this fanfic), his Targaryen heritage is a liability more than anything
that would be cool. But then it begs the question, why hasn't he been watching over Jon all these years? If he were truly alive, he would've been by the side of one of Targaryens instead of being a hermit. So while it would be interesting, it wouldn't make much sense logically..
Yep, there's legends of eldritch monstrosities in every corner of planetos. From Yi Ti to Leng Ti to Sothyros, Westeros of course. The ironborn worship their own eldritch horrors. Of course the many-faced god (death god) and moonsingers of braavos. I'm pretty sure the summer islanders have their own monstrous gods as well. Not to mention that the jury's still out on whether the lord of light and old gods are benevolent... Honestly it was such a waste to only focus on the Targaryens and Westeros in the GoT tv series. There's enough going on in ASoIaF to make a new season every year for decades if they utilize it well
wait he has super strength, more numbers, and the element of surprise (with the Manderly forces being unknown to Ramsey) and he still let Wun Wun be critically injured?
That's a waste of resources. He needs to be used as fuel for a ritual
could just be passed off as a growth spurt to people who didn't witness it. I think his age is supposed to be about 17 in the books and 19 in the show at this point in the story, so it'd be possible for him to still be growing
