This is just a very ordinary cultivation webnovel. MC with op system, face slapping arrogant young master, jade beauties, background characters explaining everything etc. Surprisingly no romance and pretty short for a chinese webnovel. Plenty of references from other popular CN like "Lord of the Mysteries", "The Legendary Mechanic" etc. This author actually dared to name one of the mid bosses as 'Lord of the Mysteries'. Overall, it was just ok, pretty boring, bland OP MC, no real character development, no memorable characters (only character which stayed in my head is the character created in reference to 'Lord of the Mysteries'). Just a very forgettable webnovel. Read it if you dont have anything to do.

Overall, it's a pretty good story, good pacing, not too long and a decent ending. The author took quite the inspiration from "The Lord of Mysteries" which I like. Praise the Fool!

The start was great. The characters and their introduction was also great. I really liked the characters until they started doing stuff that made no sense. I enjoyed reading till around chapter 60 but after that the decisions the author made with some of the characters made me so frustrated like why would you do that? The last few chapters seem so rushed and bland. This would've been great if not for that.
