Yes it is. He can just use a shadow clone with like 1% of his chakra or even use a wind clone which is even cheaper.

Nope. If someone strikes you and you hold out your shield to block it, only the defensive power / properties of the shield should count. It makes no sense for example that boots or shoulderpads make the defensive properties of other items stronger. Stat boosting items are fun and interesting but only if you create a system where weapons & armors have inherent offensive / defense properties (including durability).

Just reading the summary of this story is already enough to know it is utter garbage. Why write a story in a language you are not proficient in? 2.6 / 5 Why so low? This is basically canon. It's nearly identical to canon... of course it neither has the charm, nor the art of the original which makes it feel extremely cheap and shallow. What are the differences? MC has a power that makes no sense, even by OP standards and has a devilfruit that is so OP it should not exist. Still author manages to make it incredibly weak. Overall MC barely adds anything worthwhile to story... just some extra comments but at the same time she constantly plays dumb and nothing drastically changes.

Some writing inside of it is really creative but I agree... it's essentially a 650 chapter prologue and we constantly read about the MC and his cheat dimension daily life. It gets boring and you forget his 100 Pokemon... not only does he have a shitton of Pokemon but multiple Pokemon per species... WAY TOO MUCH. This is why I said I prefer this story over it. Sadly there are not too many good Pokemon fics around.

4.0 / 5 It is nicely written... even the "feeling" is very close to the original HP books... which is not as good as it sounds. Why? This is a reincarnation story. We follow the MC Rowan but we don't learn anything about her. She has a weird druid / dryad heritage and apparently was a wizard in her former life too. Now she has reincarnated... what does she do the first 80 chapters? NOTHING. It is ONLY and I repeat ONLY high school drama and constant talking about mostly boring topics. From time to time there is some Moody & rogue vs Voldemort & Death eater action with a few interesting events. This story is great but the MC is really as bad as harry, if not worse. Harry usually had a goal that he worked toward in any book. Rowan has nothing. She floats like a fat dude in the lazy river and drops some cryptic hints to team moody and that's it. Also the one time she could show off during exams she had cramps or something and just fucked it all up and did not even care. Really a shame & a dumb edgy MC.

I would like to say first off thanks for clicking on this story, but also to give it som time. lemme explain, the first few chapters of this story were made years ago on another platform, and i only came back to it recently to contiue forwards, meaning that even with the edits and refribsihes ive made to the first few chapters they may still seem objectivly bad by some, but i promise you it gets better, and that i edit them when i can to fix any errors. also any and all criticism is welcome, Thanks for choosing Rise of the Rust, and Enjoy!!!
