Personally for myself. I just hate harem because of stupid misunderstandings or the fake asf romance. I'd be fine with it if the MC just straight up said, I want a harem I may not love these women but I am powerful/handsome/cool/whatever. But it's always "I love all of you." or just cringe misunderstandings. A recent novel I read was exactly that, didn't know it was a harem because this stupid website can't tag novels for shit. MC got multiple women, basically any character of worthy enough to have a name and be close to the MC was a female. I stopped immediately when the MC got raped in his sleep lmao. Like wtf. (Worst part was that he was meant to be mega strong and he didn't feel shit apparently.) Most of my harem encounters have been exactly that, apart from Warlock of the Magus World. That harem was alright because there was no cringy stupid misunderstandings. And from what I remember, the women didn't even meet. Saying all that. Fuck harems, ruins all the good novels that have any potential good story.

MC is beta male harem cuck. Multiple women constantly around him and he never clarifies the relationships. He gets raped and didn't even feel it even though he's already an expert. (I dropped it here.) Story is pretty nice otherwise.
