I was also thinking of this! As you said this fanfic has lots of potential for Kingdom and army building. It's great that author has this idea too! Now, Dorne will not be the only kingdom to not be conquered by those sister-fuckers Targaryens and as you said it will not be because of schemes and tricks but because of their military might. Now that he knows about the impending invasion, he can prepare more for counter measures for dragons. I just hope that their Direwolves will have some sort of power too other than being big. If Targaryen dragons can fly, have dragon scales and breath fire, at least please give the Direwolves of the Royal Family super strength(like twice of bears), super durability(like enhance stamina and defense), accelerated regeneration(not Wolverine like but more like Naruto that can heal in days instead of weeks or months) and lastly super speed(like an active skill, like fire breathing of dragon). This way if the Targaryens are feared for their dragons and their rain of fire onto armies, Starks will be feared on the battlefield with their fast and unstoppable killing like Minato. Not as OP as the dragons but still feared. Their advantage over dragons is that Direwolves will be much more numerous and much more easy breed than dragons not to mention can be trained by the Royal family to act even without a rider/partner. I cant wait for the North's army to devastate the invaders, especially the Reach and Vale. How I hate the andals and faith of the seven. We the North!

Amazing chapter. Concise and meaningful writing. Why can't all chapters be similar to this? Majority of this fanfic are all filler chapters, honestly. Sometimes I even forget Giyu is the MC with how little he is shown and involved in the story. Rengoku and Shinobu seems more like the MC of this fanfic.

Oh my bad. Maybe I mixed it all up in my head with all the fanfic of HOTD/GOT that I read. I read so many, Im really a fan of this type of fanfics so I read a lot, even shitty ones until I cannot tolerate the idiocy in some. If he doesn't have full knowledge of HOTD plot then it's all good. Actually I was enjoying your story until Aema's death where I guess when I started mixing things up in my head. My bad author. But I'm genuinely confused. You portray both of them as people who value their family, more than anything. And their goal is to stop the dance. I mean, you said in the story Aemon's goal is to stop the dance of dragon. They know what will happen. They have the means to stop what is going to happen, like one dead Otto Hightower for example. They have power, they have knowledge. If they love their family so, if they really want to stop the dance, why not just kill Otto? If you portrayed your MCs as someone dumb, or power hungry, or more afraid to change the plot for their own benifits more than their love for family or even if both doesn't have prior knowledge of what will happen then I guess you can do pretty much anything. But your portrayal of the MCs contradicts your writing. If you, who love your family so much even going crazy for them, are transported in a world where there are people you know will cause the death of your family what would you do? I would be the cause of their death before they cause mine and my family. Simple as that. You even portrayed the fem MC as assassin/killer/avenger in her past life and she cant think of killing Otto for her family that she cherish so? As I said, its contradictory.

I don't remember clearly but Aemon is a reincarnated person that knows the whole HOTD and GOT world right? If so and this story doesn't diverge from the original story where Viserys marries Alicient then this story sucks. Honestly. Not even mentioning his overpowered sister, he alone is enough to make changes with all the knowledge he got. Author already let Aema die, following canon, if this is not a wake up call to both Aemon and Rhaenyra to change things then I guess this is just bad storytelling and the author clinging to canon. If they really don't want a dance of dragons, then with his sister's past as a cold blooded figher/assassin, killing a single Alicient is enough. Is Alicient more important than the dance of dragon? One life vs thousands of innocent life, their own lives, their family's life, their dragons, their legacy and their kingdom. If the Author chose Alicient, I dont know what to say.

Interesting. In my knowledge, in the original story Nawaki's death was the trigger to Orichimaru's change. Seeing how fragile life is and started his quest for immortality. Meaning, he cared about Nawaki as his sensei or at least cared about Tsunade seing her so broken about Nawaki and Dan's death.
