This is one of thise stories where the MC and ML have continuous misunderstandings because the MC never explains anything. The ML doesn’t trust the MC bc she wont tell him why she suddenly no longer hates him. Even if she wants to keep her rebirth a secret, how hard is it to say “I disliked you in the past because my sister lied to me and told me you killed my father?” Pointless dogblooded drama.

I really like this book, but I think the translator takes too many liberties. Qidan already censors books with explicit content, but this translator takes it a step further and removes all traces of snusnu - even stuff that is only PG-13. Lots of romance scenes have been removed. Additionally the translator likes to reorder scenes to change the flow of the story, and this can skew the timeline. I think I might be better off with an MTL.

I know that astronauts cant have large scars because they can reopen when leaving atmo. Maybe The same applies to chinese pilots 🤷‍♀️

The beginning is a little confusing and the plot is very contrived and unrealistic, but after the first several chapters it’s very cute! The setting is in the seventies of China and the characters are dealing with the after effects of the communist revolution. I think it much more interesting than the typical Qing Dynasty rebirth stories!
