i hope that he lost a bit of fine control that he could regain only after some months of control training... or that is bit unstable, and he need to expurge like half the power that he gained so is only a 2 times power up... 4 times is to much for the a pre jorney... his exponential gwroth should start after his jorney begun not before it... so i would prefer a 2x in the place of the 4x

Yes, I was thinking about the same things. or to find a way to make some kind of hard light over his skin or spheric shields like magneto shield... actually great shield if he somehow got access to other powers from the sun and create magnetic shield... it is a extremely powerful shield... maybe he could somehow awaken a second mutation like emma frost... not many fanfic goes that route... the x gene has already much potential, there is much that can me improved just by messing with it... the original sunspot got a powerup by having his x gene and powers experimented on... the stress caused greatly improved his powers... mc could make "artificial" stress, like trying to absorb and emite energy as fast as he can possibly can... x gene is evolution... and evolution is respost to stress... all types of stress even the absense of it

his only weakness is durability... got have a way to change that... cause if had a more durable body he could probably absorb more enrgy and use a lot more strength than just 5 to 50 tons... regeneration would be good, after that i think he only needs to go for cosmic energy powers... something like turn in to a herald for a cosmic entidy to figure out cosmic powers... if you put his siste in the sotry let her be the magic side... and let her more involved in the story too... like make then both more around each other business like a real brazilian family,

nah dont go... does not make sense for you to go... if the only way for him is to make genrations of gang/terrorist to make change in his country he should die the way he lived his life, the best for the mc is to become like Oak and end all the conflict just like Oak did... by being the fuing strongest and determinated to inprove the quality of life of everybody with his researches...

well thqt is that pokemon that he trqde with dawn because it did not want to train... even ash eventualy respected the truth... pokemon are no all gight machines... they have othe interest, some does not want to evolve, and there is no need to... that strengh aquaired is faster by evolving but not the only way to became incredible strong picachu... forget the game rules, cause it only make sense of status because it is a game... the anime and mangas make more sense in the way strengh is aquired
