It was an accident. An accident that shouldn't happen. Marc jumped into the river and overlooked Anika. He was told before that he could swap bodies with different people. In volume 1 he swaps bodies with Anika, a seventeen years old girl that lived with her parents and her younger sister. In Volume 2 he exchanged bodies with his mother's friends and was now pregnant.
