Stock in the rain
As I was ready to enter campus, it began to pour heavily. I was standing on the edge of campus, waiting for the rain to stop because I had forgotten to bring an umbrella because I had no idea it was going to rain. I've been standing here for 5 minutes, and our class is just 40 minutes away; I'm hoping I won't be late despite the fact that I'm almost here at campus.
You'll have to walk a few more meters outside the campus to reach the campus gate, and if the guard sees me here on the side of the campus, they'll likely assist me in getting inside, but it seems doubtful because I'm on the side and they can't see me.
I would have like to run closer to the campus gate, but I imagine I was already saturated from the rain when I arrived. I'm not sure what I should do. Even though I was wearing a coat, I was freezing.
