THEY WERE TRULY MONSTERS
The next morning, Candy woke up and did her usual chores.
When she was done with that, she made breakfast and they all ate.
Isabella, Annabella and Rachel then got ready to go shopping and so did candy.
Just as Candy was coming downstairs, Rachel then said, "Where are you going to all dressed like that candy."
A little confused, Candy saud, "What do you mean mother....you said that we are going shopping yesterday."
Rachel, "Yes I did say that, but why does that have to do with my question....I ask you where you are going dressed like that."
Candy, "Well mother, I'm going shopping with you and the girls just like what you said yesterday."
Hearing that, Rachel frowned and Said, "What do you mean going shopping....look at the house, it's dirty and messy. How can you go shopping when it's like this."
A little confused, Candy Said, "What do you mean by that mom....the house is clean and tidy."
Rachel, "oh so you mean that I'm blind or stupid and I can't differentiate between a clean house and a dirty house."
Candy, "No mother I didn't mean it that way."
Rachel, "Whatever....you are certainly not going shopping with me."
Candy, "But mom....I need new clothes for the Ball."
Rachel, "What Ball....you aren't going to a any ball, look at yourself..you are only a child at the age if sixteen and you want to go."
Candy, "What are you saying mother.... I'm not sixteen, I'm actually 18 and I'm turning 19 in a few months time."
Rachel, "I don't care because you are still a child to me....if anyone should go to the ball, it should be your sisters and if you want a dress.... I'll get it for you, now go back inside and clean the entire house once again.....when I come back I want the entire floor nice and clean."
Saying that, Rachel left with Isabella and Annabella leaving candy all alone.
Candy, "What a witch.... I'm sure you will get me a dress for a forty year old woman and you don't even want me to go to the ball...but I'm not going to let that happen." With that, Candy went back to her room.
The day passed and before Rachel, Annabelle and Isabella came back From shopping.... Candy made dinner and also used all her strength and energy to find one of her Mom's dresses.
She finally found a beautiful blue dress and she remembered that her dad got if for her mom on her birthday and she looked like an Angel when she wore it.
Candy was going to wear it to the ball if her stepmother bought her a stupid dress which was gonna happen.
An hour later, They finally came back with all smiles and with Different bags.
When candy opened the door, they didn't even bother to greet her but just smacked the bags at her and left.
She kept it all at the right place and called all of them fir dinner.
After dinner, Rachel, Annabelle and Isabella then went to the drawing room to test out the dress they were going to wear for the ball.
After finishing up the dishes, Candy came into the room and just sat in a corner.
She then said to her step mother, "Mother what about my dress."
Hearing that, Rachel smiled and looked at Annabella, and Annabella brought out a dress.
The dress wasn't big but it looked old and used.
It was dark green in colour and it looked dirty and it also had the worst design ever....even Candy's maids outfit looked better than it.
Annabella gave the dress to Candy and she looked at it with a disgusting expression.
Seeing that, Rachel then Said, "What's with that face, don't you like it."
Candy, "it's not that u don't like it, it's just dirty and ugly....is there another dress I can wear."
Hearing that, Rachel said with rage, "What do you mean by that....I bought this dress with my money and you don't even appreciate it...what an ungrateful child....if you don't want the dress then you can at least stay at home because I'm not giving you another dress."
Hearing that, Candy just stood up and left....after she left, Annabella and Isabella started laughing and Rachel laughed along with them.
Candy went to her room and then brought her dress....it was only three hours before the ball starts...so she decided to wear her mom's dress and go talk the ball.
She went into her bathroom to get something but when she came back out, the dress was nowhere to be seen.
She looked for it everywhere in her room and she finally went to the drawing room to ask if they saw her dres but then get heart just shuttered when she saw the dress.
it was in the hands of Annabella and it torn. This was the only memory she had if her mother and they had destroyed it.. seeing that she just ran away with tears and they didn't even care and just laughed at the torn dress. They were truly monsters.
