CHAPTER 4

"Who are you?" I said as I notice someone is sleeping at my office.

"You're waking me so early." I hear a baritone voice from the couch

"Why are you here Alyx, you must go to school now, it's already seven fifteen in the morning." I said and as I look around I saw the cans of beers "gosh, Alyx "I said and I pick up the cans in the floor and put it in the trash bin.

"I'm here since yesterday, and you don't bother to visit me?" He said I just shrug my head, he is drunk.

"Do you have a class?" I ask

"I don't have class; I waited for you to come here." He said

"Get up, before your sister sees you here, comes on! Get up" I said while holding him he finally stands up he smells liquor

"Is that you Rica?" He ask

"Dumb ass! This is aleeza your sister secretary get up now okay!" I said

"Aha! It's you! The babysitter of my nephew pierce and Aaron." He said

"Just stand up Alyx okay?" I said and he stands up we walk towards the elevator I click the parking lot and I just wait for I minutes and as we are here in the parking lot I'm finding his car and finally I found it I get his keys and put him in the passenger sit, I put him a seat belt and after that I go to driver seat, at first I'm nervous because I don't have a drivers license and I don't know to drive though but I breathe deeply and focus my mind, I start the engine and then we go out in the parking lot after ten minutes we are stuck in the traffic, Alyx wakes up and he look at me.

" what?"

"Your-"

"What? Don't trill me up!" I said in a high tone

"Let us switch our seats." He said

"Why would I do that your freaking drunk in fucking sake, alyx?" I said

" I'm not drunk okay, so let fucking switch seats okay your-" he trilled in what he said, I'm shock that to know that he had a bad attitude to, he look at my furious face then in my shoulder " your shoulder is bleeding." He said

"My, what?" I ask

"Let us switch our seats." He said and I oblige, we change our seats and he is the one who's driving right now, he drive in the place that I don't know where is that I just realize that were going to the pharmacy, and the beside of it is the boutique store. He gets down on the car I get down too.

"Just wait inside the car." He said so I oblige again, while waiting to him, I get my phone and texted Ms. Aminah that I'll be late and she said that it's okay because she don't have too many schedule after ten minutes Alyx back and he bring a paper bag and handed it to me.

"What should I do with this?" I ask

"Your chest is bleeding okay? Don't you know how to bandage it? Or you want me to bandage that?" He said slyly.

"Fine, I will bandage this, okay? It's because of you! You are so heavy!" I said and he doesn't bother to response.

I look at the mirror and I just realize that my chest is bleeding I wear out my blouse and don't bother to look who I am with inside care, my bra is already I color red because of the blood that flowing in my chest, I clean my chest first but it's difficult because I'm not a left hander.

"Can you help me? I'm struggling with this but if you don't its okay." I said and I get some bandage but he holds my hand and gets the bandage

"Face me." He said to me so I oblige

"Are you studying medical related course." I ask him while he cleaning my wound, I see how his Adams apple moves when I speak

"I'm an architecture student, I just know how to this." He said and continue in bandaging after he bandage me, I look at the paper bag and I see that he buy some blouse it's color white and what I shock is he buy my bra too..

"How could you-"

"Don't shout okay, just wear that."

"Fine, okay, don't dare to look." I said and I go to the back seat I look back I try to reach the lock of my bra but I can't I try again and I finally I unlock it up. I quickly change my blouse and I go back to my seat I put my blouse and bra in the paper bag. And he starts the engine and the drive back to company's direction so I'm curious

"Why you turn to the company, you must go home first, I can commute." I said

"Then what? You'll be harm again huh?" He said

"I can defend myself." I said

"You can't look what happened last time." He said

"I tried to defend myself last time but I'm tired in that time." I said

"No you can't." He said

"Are you offending me huh?" I said and I raise my brows.

"I'm saying the truth but if you are offended in what I said then that' your fault okay?" He said

"If I could turn back the time, I wish that the both of us don't meet." I said but he don't bother to talk he continue driving and keep silent, the whole ride become silent till we reach the company I quickly get down in his car and I go to elevator I don't bother to look back and I click the floor ten, I let out the deep and long breath out of frustration I role my eyes and let out what happened earlier, but suddenly my phone rings as I look who's the caller I see

I quickly cancel the call and put the cell phone on my pocket, but it vibrated and as I look, he messages me.

From: Alyx Gustavo

I'm sorry for offending you, I'm just concern I'm really sorry.

I don't bother to reply him and set my phone in offline mode and as the elevator opens I go to Ms. Aminah office.

"Good morning ma'am." I greeted to Ms. Aminah and as I see Mrs. Gustavo I greeted her too.

"Are you okay now, aleeza?" The lady ask

"Yes, ma'am I'm okay." I reply

"Oh, I'm happy to see you, I have the photos that I want you to paint, and by the way can I see your samples." The lady ask

"Of course ma'am just wait ma'am." I said and I get my phone in my pocket and I go to the gallery I handed my phone to Ms. Aminah mother

"Wow! I want this scenery, remember this ami? This scenery is what alyx said about the girl that he meet a months ago." She said

"Yeah your right mom, who's the guy aleeza?" Ms. Aminah ask me

" I don't know who's the guy ma'am, and I really want to meet him to say thank you personally, because he really help me a lot in that time." I said

"Is this paint is for sale?" The lady ask

"Ohm, that's painting is not for sale ma'am I'm sorry." I said

"Don't be sorry aleeza that's okay, by the way here are the photos that I want you to paint on, is that okay?" the lady ask

"Of course ma'am it's okay."

"Are you a fine arts graduate?"

"I'm an engineer ma'am; painting is just my hobby ma'am." I said with a smile

"Aha! I know it! When did you take your exam?"

"Next month ma'am." I said

But someone is interrupted our talk as that someone enters the room.

"Mom!"
