I swung it as hard as I could to give him a free ride to the galaxies above.

He turned around at the last minute with his eyes bulging in disbelief. I was quick to part with my accomplice of a possible murder. I hid my hands behind, taking several steps back only to stumble on the sofa behind me, "Sorry…" I squeaked, making sure to look as miserable as possible.

I seem to have broken him though, as he just stood there hung up in thin air.

"I just got a little carried away—"

"Were you seriously going to hit me?" I should tell him he's delusional to think that I did but that might be the trigger that will get me kicked out of the door.

I smack my lips together, and my silence seems to have given him the answers he sought. He fell back on the sofa, running a hand through his face. His hair was open today and I almost find myself envious of the texture he flaunted. Drool-worthy.
