The Jiangnan Kingdom was part of the Wu Li Empire, and the kingdom was the closest to the Xinyang Imperial Palace. Perhaps that was also the reason why the people in the Xinyang Imperial Palace were quite familiar with the ruler of Jiangnan. The reason was that Fu Zhan, the ruler of Jiangnan, often visited Xinyang to discuss several matters with Emperor Wu Shun.
Even though the kingdom was quite close to the Xinyang Imperial Palace, it was still quiet when it was late at night. Located in the northeastern region of the empire, Jiangnan was surrounded by forests, and the large trees in the forests acted as a barrier separating the kingdom from the other kingdoms of the Wu Li.
There was only one main road that could be taken if you wanted to get to Jiangnan. The road was called Chung Road, and several people guarded the end of the road that would lead people to the main territory of Jiangnan Kingdom.
