I release a sigh and look out of the window. Have you ever thought about how the world is so dull? Well, to me, it is boring. Wake up every morning, make breakfast, eat, go to work, get back home, eat, sleep, and repeat.

I want some adventure. Something exciting! Something out of this world but sadly, reality sucks.

I want to experience the Isekai case where I am summoned to another world and explore the world.

"Well, why don't we make a contract?!"

"What?"

I look at the sound coming from, and instead of seeing someone, I see that I'm no longer inside my office. I'm not in the middle of a gazebo in the middle of a beautiful garden. Instead, I can see a table and two chairs next to me, and sitting in front of me is a beautiful woman.

The most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life.

"Oh, my~ Thank you for your compliment~."

"You deserve it."

"Fufufufufu~ Anyway, why don't you make a contract with me?"

"A contract? What is that? It was not some sort of devil's contract, right?"

"Well, it depends. You will need to do my bidding in the form of a quest but unlike the devil in your world, I will not keep you forever. Three missions and you are done."

"And in exchange?"

"You will have an exciting adventure! A new world to explore and many enemies to fight!"

"Really? Can I really get that?"

"Of course~ Here is the contract~."

I take the floating paper in front of me and read it. I frown a little when I see points, goods, and the like.

"You are working for a company?"

"Hmmm? Oh, that's right! While you are directly working for me, you are still part of the company."

"What kind of company is it?"

"Trading company. As for the goods… well anything. Weapons, potions, and even living beings and yes that includes humans."

"I see. Fair enough."

"Oh, my~ I know I chose the right person! Too many people I try to recruit are too self-righteous and hypocritical. They keep bragging that it was for greater good or some shit while they are enjoying the point from their trade."

Well, I don't really care about it. It was just business. It is just like how my father sold my mother to a pimp and enjoyed her money on alcohol. If only he had given her some attention and care, she would not have killed him with a knife because I know that she enjoys how she gets humiliated and used by others.

Or is it because he was caught red-handed cheating? I already forgot about it.

"What kind of mission will you ask me?"

"Hmmmm~ All kinds of missions! From rescuing the princess to becoming the dark lord!"

"That is very different."

"Yup~ So! Are you willing to join me and the company?"

"... I can retire after three missions, right?"

I nod my head and read the contract one last time before signing the contract. After I signed the contract, the world changed once more. Now I'm in the middle of a void and in front of me is a giant list of… CYOA? What?

"CYOA? Yes. However, this is different. You can continue to buy perks and other things through this phone."

She gives me a smartphone and says,

"This will be your company phone. This is work just like any other phone, you can use it to call people or surf the internet. You should know how to access the company's special app that lets you buy perks and the like."

"Neat."

"Because I'm your patron, you now can access Genie Marketplace!"

"Genie Marketplace?"

"Yup! I'm Genie of Traveling or Isekai Genie and my name is Luk-Think. You can call me Luk. My kind decided to create a special marketplace that can be only accessed by the people who have a contract with our kind. The marketplace has tax, however. For any item that you sell for ten or fewer points, we will take thirty percent of the profit. Eleven to forty points, we will take twenty percent of the profit. Forty-one to three hundred and fifty points, we will take ten percent of the profit. Lastly, if you sell something above one hundred and fifty, we only take seven percent."

"That is… Rather unfair don't you think?"

"That is not my doing. The higher up is the one doing that. The more you sell the more you will get."

"What if I put a higher price than it's supposed to be?"

"Then you will lose your profit. You need to pay us first for putting the item on the market and we will give you a month of company time before we give back your item. That means you need to sell your item before the deadline of the contract. If you put the item above the average, it will be less attractive to the potential buyer."

"Fair enough."

"Anyway, please fill out the form and show it to me."

"What about the boon?"

"You will get your boon each time you arrive in a new world."

I frown a little but decide not to say something. She says that I will get three boons, but she never says when I will get them. If I fill a CYOA, I will get the power to defend myself in the other world.

That is enough for now. I look at all the lists and read them carefully. The first thing is the world. I have zero points at the start, and I can get points by choosing the world I will be in. The more dangerous the world, the more points I get.

There are 10 tiers of difficulties, with the tenth tier being the most dangerous world. All of the tenth-tier worlds is a dead world or at least has a universe-destroying event going on every weekend.

I need to search for a world that is not too easy but also not too difficult. A tier-6 world? That should be good.

I continue to read the description of the world and search for the right world. Finally, a moment later, I found the world I wanted. It is a 6-tier world filled with monsters that I can hunt to make myself stronger for the next world, and it has a unique form of local power that I can get.

~Sometimes later~

I re-read it for the second time and nodded my head. Then, I look back at Luk, who is sipping some tea, and say.

"Luk, I'm finished."

"Oh? Let's see."

She takes a quick glance and nods her head.

"RWBY, aye? That is one of the popular choices because many agents think it is an easy world. Sadly, most of them died not from the monster but from the people. There is a reason why it was listed as a tier-6 world. My only advice is to not go gun blazing but become a knife in the dark."

"Thank you for your advice. I will remember it."

"Good. As for your mission… I want you to create a new settlement. There is a massive patch of land in the south of the Sanus Continent and people try to make that area their home. Help them and make sure that the settlement is self-sufficient in their food and they are strong enough to defend themselves from the Grimm."

"Not defeating the boss of all Grimm?"

"No. It will take a long time for you to be able to defeat her. I need a hub in this world for other agents harvesting something in this world and this settlement is good enough for this goal."

"Fair enough. When will the mission start?"

"You will arrive about a year before the canon timeline."

"Wait. Canon timeline? Is this world from a movie or something?"

"Animated series."

"Huh? Really? Never heard of them. Anyway, I have a year before the mission starts?"

"No. When you arrive, you have three months to prepare before you need to go to the guild and take the mission that will appear on your phone."

"As for my identity?"

"Because you choose 'Extra' as your origin, you will take over the body of a new graduate hunter from an academy in Vale. Because you are an 'extra' you are graduating from a 2nd rate academy and your score is just above average."

"Good enough."

"The information will be transferred into your brain when you arrive."

Luk snaps her finger, and suddenly a golden portal appears in front of me.

"Please walk through the portal and you will arrive at your destination."

I walk through the portal, and my vision is engulfed in golden light.
