Karena manusia sangat haus akan kekuasaan,uang,dan nafsu tersendiri. Oleh karena itu manusia menggunakan sihir untuk memenuhi nafsu jahat mereka. Maka dari itu pemerintah juga menciptakan prajurit sihir untuk menjaga keamanan negara. Pemuda bernama Kris dan kakaknya yaitu Tsuba, keturunan bangsawan Oberon. Kris menguasai sihir cahaya yang diturunkan dari ibunya. Sedangkan Tsuba menguasai sihir penguatan fisik. Sebagai kakak adik mereka tidak akrab, namun mereka memiliki tujuan yang sama yaitu melindungi dunia dari kejahatan.
