Chapter 17

Grace's Point Of View,

"Oh yes, he is Fin", said Anna and clapped with a smile and I just glared at her. Oh god, please just save me from this.

"So what is the big deal, why are you so happy to see him", I said and she glared at me.

"Grace he saved me. How can you forget that", said Anna and I just rolled my eyes? Fin was coming towards us and I was feeling so nervous.

"Anna, dare if you give him so much attention", I warned Anna but she just ignored my words and jumped from the swing and hugged Fin as he stopped near me.

I just could not believe that Anna ignored my words like this. What the hell is wrong with this girl? Why does she like him so much?

"I am so happy to see you again Fin. How come you are here again", Anna asked him as Fin just caressed her hair. I could see so much affection for her in his eyes.

"I was here for some work, and I just saw you guys were coming this way so I just came to say hello", he explained to Anna but he was looking towards me. Huh, jerk.

"Okay, so you already said it. Now you can leave", I said in a cold tone as Anna was staring at me with angry eyes, but I did not look at her.

"Ouch, that was so rude", said Fin as he was trying to act funny and he succeeded as he looked so funny and cute. But I did not laugh, he was looking at me and Anna cleared his throat as she looked at me.

"So, are you coming home with us", asked Anna and Fin shook his head.

"No, sweety, I have some works to handle so I can not come, but I bought ice cream for you. And I promise that I will come later again", he said to Anna and handed her the packet of ice cream.

"Oh, wow, I love ice cream, but I only eat a few times. I just like it so much, thank you Fin", said Anna and hugged him again.

"Okay, let us go, Anna. You should eat your ice cream or else it will melt", I said to her and she nodded her head and started walking fast.

"Okay Fin, I hope I will see you soon again", said Anna to Fin and started walking out of the park.

"And I will also see you soon", said Fin to me slowly making me shiver again.

He was just trying to make me feel nervous. Oh god, what is happening to me? Why is his presence affecting me so much? I just do not want to feel that way but I just can not stop thinking about him.

"Take care of yourself okay, bye", he said to me and he walked away. And soon he disappeared.

If I speak honestly then I want him to stay. I feel good and safe around him but my mind is still not ready for this.

I still feel scared and I do not know how long I am gonna feel his way, but there is one thing I am sure about, and that is Fin is different, so different than my past and others.

"Hey, what are you doing? Come fast, my ice cream is melting", Anna yelled and I just chuckled to see her like that. I am so glad.

I started walking fast, and soon we reached home. I pressed the doorbell button and in the next minute, mom opened the door.

"Oh you guys came so soon", she said and we walked inside.

"Mom, will you eat ice cream", Anna asked mom and mom looked at us with a smile on her face.

"From where do you guys buy ice cream", mom asked us. Anna looked at me, and now I know I have to answer her.

"Mom, Fin was there for some work so he bought ice cream for Anna", I said and mom smiled so brightly after hearing my words. I know mom thinks there is something fishy going on.
