Reality shattering arrival

While N°658 soul' was keep repressed by the second inhabitant within his soul, they cross the boundaries of their first world. The reason why was to prevent any damage to his soul after the different exposure he had undergone in a short time. If awoken now, the phantom pain of the previous experiments could have a devastating effect on the still fragile soul, not speaking of its mind.

While kept from harm, they fuse with the nearly fecundated egg of their new mother. When it seems that the mother was sharing a close DNA that their own, it overrides the information carrier that would have to fecundate the egg a few seconds later.

Reading the available information, nearly all of the would-be father DNA was scrapped, changed with the best available material the soul had carried.

Letting the two fuses finally together, it waits for the formation of its shell, keeping a careful eye on its development. That action allowed it to get rid of a different issue that would have risen otherwise.

Most of them were coming from their mother' blood. While it was unknown to it witch world they had landed, it was still able to recognise that some unnatural substance that would have contaminated them.

~~~
Unknow to it; this act had repercussion on the mother too. As those substances had a definite aim and considered as semi-sentient, the lack of positive response was weakening the amount present in her blood, lessening its effect on the mother.
As the days pass, more substances were flushed. Unable to take hold of the second host, and since both parties were still unaware of the pregnancy, the dose aimed for a unique individual was not near enough to affect the mother as it should.
As the number of potions, and their influences, were slowly lowering, Lily was starting to emerge from the heavy potioning she was subject. It was so steady that, while she realises that something was wrong, her counterpart didn't.
Being the brilliant young lady that she was, aided to the fact that she wasn't a sludge at Potion, she rapidly discovers what, who and why.
When she did discover that, a further exam to know how it happens, reveal to her that she was two-month pregnant.
Thank the potions; the hormonal imbalance had been until then suppressed as any other less than shining states her condition would put her under.
The discovery of her pregnancy was a rather delicate matter for her. On one side, she was carrying the child of her rapist; on the other hand, she was also the mother of an innocent child unresponsible of his monster of a father.
~~~

The following week was a stressing matter for her; she had quit the job she obtains not a year before. It was only after thinking about it the entire week that she came to a decision.

Her child was innocent, and she would never be responsible for killing her blood. While her rapist of a husband had gone waste himself drunk with his three best friends after hearing that she would stay at home for now on, she goes straight for the extensive library of the Potter Manor.

Pouring into the old books regarding purebloods laws, she passes the night into a very particular section, marriage acts. As a significant part of their world, those laws were not edited since aeons. Either due to the seemingly congenital Wizards laziness or motto 'if it not broken don't fix it', she was at insensate and thankful at the same time.

"Those chauvinist pigs! How can they... Calm down Lily, don't bother with it, and be grateful that their too lazy to read anything outdating their time from more than two hundred years."

Taking a deep breath to calm herself, she takes a block note, a pen and starts to draw the contract, returning multiple times to the old pages of the tomes to verifies the correct wording and phrasing.

Being far from a legit solicitor, she needs a few tries before she could be satisfied and be sure to get rid of most of the loopholes possible.

Only after being sure that she had everything correctly done, did she enter her nearly new husband study. Taking the contract quill and parchment (goblins enchanted stationery), she dictates the contract.

She barely had enough time to finish before hearing the sound of the activating Floo of the office.

Schooling as possible her feature, she let a sigh of relief at the sight of the wholly wasted James Potter barely able to stand, let alone walk, exit the Floo, before crashing headfirst on the thick carpet.

~~~
Making her way to the captivating human-worm wiggling on the mat, a bold through cross her mind. Taking the quill and parchment, she slowly made her way.
"James? You're here?" Attempt her, unsure that he was conscious and mentally able to understand human language.
"Mnn." The low grunt she receives was all she need to judge that while he was here, the entire night would surely vanish from his memories. She barely made to a meter of him before the stench of Firewhisky hit her, hard. The smell was so strong that she was sure that he would catch fire just by breathing on a lighted candle. It also assures her that he would be out for at least a day or two and the previous day would be no better than a complete blackout.
"Sweety" she nearly gag internally at the endearing term. "Sweety, I need you to sign something, it a binding document the goblins need before tomorrow.
"Mnn, fukin bagger, chan't jhey know I'm a bary bushy personn?!" Slurred him, barely able to enunciate two words correctly.
It was so bad that she needs a second to understand, and when she did nod 'Yep, completely wasted.' "It important, please?"
"Mnn." Taking the second grunt as confirmation, she slid the quill in his hand, needing to help him secure his hold on it before he let it fall, and put his hand on the line.
"Here you go sweety, yes, that right, just their, thanks." Encouraging him as she could while suppressing the bile rising from her stomach, she guides his hand on the parchment, obtaining a very shaky, but valid signature on the document.
Once signed, the document shone for a second, before duplicating itself, a copy vanishing to the bank accounter to enact the decision. For evident safety, Lily would keep the second copy for the night, before depositing it to her newly bank vault the next day.
Done with her task, she was about to think what to do with the drunken waste, until she catches bits of barely coherent words he was sprouting. Roughly making the degrading word aimed at her while he was molesting the mat, thinking it was her, she decides that it was better to leave him there.
~~~

The following morning, after taking care of her ablution, she made her way to the study, not surprised to see him still passed out on the floor. She was however disgusted by the large pool of vomit encrusted in the thick carpet and the suspicious stain in the rug and robes.

Unwilling to think about the violated carpet, she made her way to the hearth, after taking a fist full of Floo powder.

"St.Mungo!"

Enunciating her destination, she decisively throws the powder to her feet, vanishes from the Manor in a column of bright emerald fire.

~~~
Arriving at the reception hall of the magical hospital, one of the few place still relatively safe from the ongoing war, I made my way to the large counter.
"Yes, how can I help you?" Asked me the witch behind the desk, not even raising her head from the visible magazine.
Taking no heed over the blatant uncaring and disrespecting bint, I say.
"I have an appointment with Healer Dragworth."
Recalcitrant to put down the rag that was Teen Weekly Witch, from her expression, and going through the notebook, she absent-mindedly says." Third floor, room 15." Before I could see her eyes widen and abruptly raise her head.
From the glint in her eyes, it wasn't difficult to know what she was thinking.
"If I hear a single word about this in the prophet or the other trash of the same level, you can be sure that I will sue your ass so much that you wish to be buried unto dragon dung to the neck. Break your oath, and I will make sure even knockturn alley brothel wouldn't even accept you to work for them!"
I turn around; making my way to the elevator, leaving her completely stunned, I barely made two-step before a grin broke on my face.
'It good to be back!'
~~~

The completely frightened witch was still shaking from the threat, reach for her wand. She needs three tries before correctly spelling the message to Healer Dragworth, that her appointment was here, before crumbling on her seat.

On the side, the other receptionist who had assisted to the scene couldn't repress her snigger. It was well known that the other witch was a gossip-mongering whore, not being able to leak that Lily Potter was here to see one of the only specialised obstetric healers of the hospital, was surely killing her.

~~~
"Enter!"
Gathering her wit after hearing the muffled response following from her knocking on the door, she turns the door handle.
'You can do it!' Cheering herself after freezing, handle in hand, she slowly enters the room.
Seeing her nervous patient still clutching the door handle, the matron calmly, says "Ah, Lady Potter, good, let start then."
Seeing her smoothening, she nods internally, before leading the young lady to the bed, it wasn't her first pregnancy, and surely wouldn't be her last, if she survives the war, that it. Knowing that the other woman would lost her cool if she waits too long, she immediately starts to work.
Taking her wand out, she taps two times lightly on her pad, making it levitate on her side, followed by a quill.
Starting the complex motion of the group of spells while muttering, the quill on her side start recording the results while she applies all her mind on her task.
After five uninterrupted minutes, she finally stops and lowers her wand, before starting to go over the result. Seeing the results and remembering the letter she had received from the woman the day before. See frown, before beginning another seance of wand waving.
The results of those further ten minutes where enough to infuriate her, that it slips on her face.
It was only Lily sight that made her conscious of the fact. Not wanting to waste more time, she spoke slowly, taking care of choosing her words.
"I must say that I'm sorry that your hunch was correct, Lady Potter. You show traces of long-lasting potioning of multiple types of loyalty potion, a mild, but uninterrupted, exposure of love potion. I could still detect a trace of another strong one, dating from at least three years who had been replaced by the previous one. I could also detect a trace of a mind-altering potion, aiming to suppress a certain personality trait. The mix of all of them would be leaving barely more than a glorified slave." Say her, barely able to repress the disgust in her voice.
"Seeing that you have regained most of your cognitive faculties, I assume you have an idea of to whose those came?"
Lily stays quiet but nod, shivering at the thought of how twisted wizards were, and to what length they were willing to go to take what they wanted.
"How..?"
"How have you been able to wake from them?" Finished the matron, seeing that the poor woman was unable to formulate her throughs, earning a nod.
"Trustfully, I was barely able to acknowledge it myself, but the result isn't lying. It all thanks the little one growing inside you. It the first time that I hear or witness such magical prowess from an unborn child, let alone at this stage of pregnancy. The most plausible solution is that it had felt the harmful substance in your blood and his magic filter them from your blood. Since the doses are for a single target and the fact that they didn't even work on your child, they lose nearly all their potency. What left is unable to maintain you in your previous state and have slowly wean you of their past influence."
On this, the witch made the legal two copy of the result, giving one to Lily.
"Regretfully, we are bound by our oath only to keep documents if they aren't asked for back, some trait of it even force it to wipe the memories out of us." Fakely sight the matron while keeping a steel gaze on Lily, making her smile.
~~~

The second the door close, Healer Dragworth eyes glaze for a second, before returning to their normal state. When she understands what happened, she couldn't help but rapidly taking a glance to the register on her planning. Seeing the name of Lady Potter, she smiled faintly, thinking to have understood that the woman wanted to keep the meeting secret, unknowingly vanishing the last remnant of the memories wiped by her oath.

~~~
After returning to the reception hall, Lily directly made her way to the Floo, exiting in the Leaky Cauldron. Making her way without stopping, barely catching from the side of her gaze, the form of Remus Lupin nursing a headache with two passed Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew in the darkest corner of the dingy pub.
After opening the passage to the alley, she couldn't help but see the thin crowd hastily making it way in the Alley, unwilling to pass more time than necessary while a raid could happen at any time.
Finally crossing the street in record time due to the actual climate, she didn't stop while entering the bank.
Looking at the goblins behind their high desk, she barely refrains from pursing her lips. Like the Wizards, they are a nasty race in another way. They wouldn't hesitate to swindle you to every Galleon they can. As they despite the Wizard and are stubborn, they didn't differentiate between pureblood and muggle-born, carrying the resentment the other feel about them, continuing the vicious circle.
