Li na tried to get up but her body did not respond to her. She felt so different and painful all over. She watched her hand come in front of her eyes and she got shocked by the fact that her hand which she felt and saw was so small. It resembled to a child of three years.

She remembered experimenting in her lab on a crystal pendent which had a shining green and blue liquid present in it but it did not mix together. It intrigued her and she wanted to open it and understand this new discovery.

However after several tries and trying every scientifically possible idea to break it open, the pendent remained the same. After constantly trying to open it for 5 hours she became frustrated so she used her teeth to crack it open in anger. Although the pendent did not open it scratched her tongue and got her to bleed. The blood seeped into the pendent very quickly for her to notice.

The pendent then cracked from the middle and the shining blue and green liquid went into her mouth, which she swallowed as a force of habit.

lì nà tried to take the pendent out and the moment it was spit out on her hand, it turned into dust. She wanted open her phone camera to take a look at her tongue's condition but she froze and her whole body felt like it would burst open, every nerve of her body felt shaken. She could not see but the nerves on her face shifted from blue to green, like it was trying to absorb or contain something but it felt too much to contain within such short duration. Finally, it resulted in that she could not breathe and she died a few seconds later.

What gave her peace was the truth that her earning and richness would not go to anyone but to animals and orphans centres.

Leaning against the tree lì nà came to terms with the fact that she had died and maybe if her novelistic brain was right, she is now transmigrated into some other world or dimension, maybe also to future or past. The forest did not answer any of her questions so she was not sure about what to do next.

She was hearing noise of a flow of water stream nearby, as she was thirsty and wanted to look at herself and her face, she stood up slowly because of her pain and with the support of the trees she went to the nearby river stream.

It was a clean pristine water fall and pond, the waterfall was not very high but an acceptable height of fifteen to sixteen metres. She went to a shallow side and drank some mouthful first, when she was not thirsty she washed her face and she waited for the water to settle and then looked into the water.

Her face was thin, very thin, it was all skin and bones but her features were very cute, she had doe eyes with phoenix shape to them, her face had button nose and a heart shaped set of lips which were cracked and torn due to malnutrition, which was the only guess she could think of.

lì nà was very satisfied with her appearance and regarding her health, she could just eat a good amount from now on. She felt very dirty all over with mud and dirt around her body and clothes. She thought of taking a bath and examining her body as to why she hurt so much.

She was not wearing anything she was familiar with, it felt like she knew these clothes were of ancient times. So many wraps around and the cloth had holes in them. She could guess that maybe she travelled to ancient times but she had no time to think about all that right now.

She took off the outer layer and washed it first and put it under direct sunlight. She then went in the water and washed herself the best she could despite the pain she felt. She saw whip marks over the shoulders, her arms and her back after looking carefully. Looking at the marks her brain suddenly felt so painful with so many memories.

It was painful for a couple of minutes she held her brain and sat down on a rock.

After absorbing all the memories she understood about her existence. The original body owner was sent to a rich family in the capital as they had no child for 5 years of being together. They found her on the footsteps of the entrance of their house. They decided to keep her but only after six months, the couple got pregnant and eventually gave birth to a boy, the father also got a promotion and their business started booming, they had a happy family, after living there for three years, they gave lì nà no official name and just called her Bai as she was very white like milk, after their son was born, Bai was despised by the servants and every helper for just beind an adopted child.
