I was an average otaku guy. I spent my days reading manga and playing otome games. I was happy, that is, until one day when I was walking home from school, I was hit by Truck-kun! When I died, I met a goddess who told me that I died by accident and thus she will transmigrate me in a fantasy world as the hero where I will have my own harem of 300 women! But this is not what I expected! Where was my harem of 300 women? And most importantly, why did I get transmigrated in the otome game that I hated the most, "Love in the Midst of Chaos: Lunar Crest Academy" as Kalin, the cannon fodder terminally ill prince who was destined to die at the young age of 14!?!
"God damn it!" I yelled into my pillow as I furiously threw my phone across my king sized bed.
I spent two months playing an otome game titled, "Love in the Midst of Chaos: Lunar Crest Academy," for nothing! My patience and effort were wasted because the otome game ended with a terrible ending!!!
In the otome game, the heroine of the game, Lia Lovegood is a 14 years old commoner. Lia Lovegood finds out that she has a rare light ability when wandering priests measure her mana with the mana crystals.
Because of this, she is granted permission from the King to attend Lunar Crest Academy.
There Lia will encounter the capture targets and attempt to raise their love meters.
One of the capture targets, the "charming 1st prince" Leon is the duke's adopted daughter's fiancée.
The duke's adopted daughter is the Villainess of the game. As her role is to be the villainess, the duke's adopted daughter, Krystal will relentlessly bully Lia.
After the war with the demon king, Krystal will be sentenced to death by hanging in the bad ending or exiled in the good ending.
In the bad ending, if the heroine fails to capture the hidden capture target Kairos Calisto, who is the 1st demon prince then the heroine will end up dying, sacrificing herself to defeat the demon king.
The capture targets who were at that time madly in love with the heroine will fall into despair. Then they will lash out onto the first person they could think of: the villainess who had tormented the one they love.
They would condemn the villainess to death by hanging.
In the good ending, if the heroine captures the hidden capture target, Kairos then the heroine will survive and thus making the villainess also have a better ending: exile.
I was so mad and frustrated. For two long months I have played that stupid game. I replayed it countless of times so that I could see all the various endings.
Why is it stupid you say? Well because the game labeled the villainess as well the villainess!
If you ask me, the heroine is like the villainess.
Krystal was the 1st prince's fiancée. What girl wouldn't get mad at some random girl hanging out and flirting with her fiancée?
What was so wrong with confronting that random girl?
If you ask me, the 1st prince is such a cheater!
I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair.
Then I got up and left my house to buy some food.
I was walking towards the store when all of a sudden I felt a rough hand push me onto the road!
I stumbled into the middle of the street and my eyes opened wide as I noticed a oncoming truck heading my way.
The truck driver honked his horn in desperation but it was no use. Within a matter of seconds, the truck crashed into me and I flew about 3 meters away because of the impact.
I could hear screaming and when I turned my head to the side, I could see a huge puddle of crimson-red blood underneath me.
I was dying, I knew it. The only regret in my life was playing that stupid otome game that I spent my precious time on for two months!
Just when I was about to lose consciousness, a blinding white light engulfed me.
